STA’s preservation team worked with Silman Structural Engineers in carrying out design and investigation work required for the raising of the Tupper Boat House, a 1929 building, composed of the larger Boat House space and the connected Cottage. The team lifted the building above the floodplain and structurally stabilized it in its present location under the Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Assistance Grant for Historic Properties award of 2014.
